? What’s New in the June 5 Rust Update

As with every first Thursday of the month, Facepunch delivers a major game update. Here are the highlights:

? Bee Catapult Bomb

Introducing a new siege weapon — Bee Catapult Bomb. Upon impact, it releases a swarm of bees that attack nearby players. Ideal for flushing enemies out of buildings.

• Crafted with 3 bee grenades and 200 wood
• Requires Workbench Level 1

? Suppressor Overhaul

• Military suppressor is no longer craftable — now only found in loot
• New low-tier suppressors added — limited durability and lower efficiency

? Floor & Ceiling Skins

Over 20 new decorative styles for flooring and ceilings have been added — including parquet, tiles, and tatami. Only usable in fully enclosed rooms. Some are free; others are DLC-exclusive.

⚡ Electricity Improvements

• New wire snapping feature auto-aligns wires for cleaner, more precise electrical layouts
• Helps with building and debugging circuits faster

? Food Spoilage System

Fruits, vegetables, and other plant-based food now spoil after 48 real-time hours, turning into "rotten food" with no nutritional value. This adds realism and encourages better food management.

? Other Additions & Fixes

• New decorative options for interior design
• Bug fixes related to weapons, interfaces, and deployables
• Improved rendering, network performance, and server-side stability
